The only thing that sucks about doing this VC swap is that you cant move the VC to the correct location, IE if you put the default VC onto the Posky 737, it sits at the 1st or 2nd passenger row of the exterior model.

@absolutsoju I think that's a simple task of changing the eyepoints. Just try experimenting with it in the aircraft.cfg

@FSXlander Right, you can correct the eyepoint, but it doesnt fix that the VC is not lined up with the exterior flight model. Say you park up to a jetway. The jetway lines up with the door, but go back into the VC.. look left, why am I staring right into the jetway?? in this case it was the Default VC paired with the Posky 737-800..

Hello and good day. I had a small wonder I fly FS2004, and I also the Airbus A380, as they are the first to post a video here in youtube has wanted to merge ask custody as I can put the merge. I have a merge for Project airbus a380 Overland for a virtual cockpit I have just added the cfg file and overwrite but it does not work.

@lippel1993 Hi Lippel1993, I'm sorry that I currently can't do much but unfortunately, just replacing the aircraft.cfg won't do anything. @iAirsoft69 I haven't tried it as FSX is no longer installed on my computer. However, I believe that it only works with POSKY.

OMFG Does anyone know what hell i do wrong?? I tried this in other airplane too. But now, i tried to copy Airbus A321 Virtual Cockpit to other Airbus what doesnt have VC. But when i tried to play FSX seems the default Airbus A321 has been gone and now that other airplane where i copied that VC is invisible and VC doesnt work! How i can get default airplane working again and get VC to other plane too? Please someone help me..

hey great tutorial it worked great with my virgin atlantic 747 with cf-80 engiens but when i went to do it on my british airways 747 with rb211 engiens the cover's of the engiens did not appear and all you can see is the insides of the engiens. i tried again with a 747 400f with the same engiens and there was the same problem do you know what the problem is? any help would be great as i love the ba 747 and would love to fly it with a vc.

all done sir but 1 prob. when the vc is their the plane is slightly flowting from the ground..the gears are not touch on the ground after landing..any fix from that?

first of all, great video. easy to understand and very well done. everything works on my planes (air china, virgin, and british AW), its just that all of them have a model (with no textures-just gray) of a POSKY air stair or food service vehicle sticking out of the right side of the plane. any fix????

-Have you downloaded an fsx-compatible model from the POSKY website?

fsx compatible models are required in order to support two different models (in this case, the virtual cockpit, this is part of why you can't merge a virtual cockpit to FS2004 models like the CamSim 787)

-Have you opened the aircraft.cfg file and under [Views] changed the eyepoint values to:

eyepoint=-32.500, -2.000, 11.100

@LDP555 I can guarantee with POSKY 747v4. If you want to add it to another aircraft, it may not necessary work. All you have to do would be to ignore the eyepoint step. Anyway questions leave a comment.

It works great on my sim and thanks for showing how to do it, but i do intend to regard at one issue; the panel lights at night do not work like in the default 747, does anyone have a solution for it?

it's possiable to merge a PMDG 747-400/8i in your posky aircraft i've done it so now i have a PMDG panel and PMDG sound and a posky base aircraft and it doesn't take in alot ot fraps :D

I cannot guarantee as I do not have time to do it on all the planes. If you were to do it, don't do the eyepoint step.

I've found out that you should set sound=B737-800 then it work properly

They are loud because of your sound settings. I recommend going to options and changing them.

This is only for the -400. *You don't have to update your model.* It's best if you want the plane to work in FSX. All other steps apply.

I have made a fix for the night lightsing within the VC, For this to work you will need all the effects which you get with the posky 747 aircraft installed. The night lighting is not quite like it was before however atleast you can read the gauges. Please use the nav lights switch to turn it on

I have done this all successfully although I have no VC cabin lights at night which makes it impossible to read any gauges !?
