noone ever no kobe no bron no anyone can compare to this man before his wizard stint he played 13 seasons and he dominated this is lebrons 7th i believe and kobes 15th and they stilll havent compared as half to what this man did....and to these foools thtt started watching bball yesterday saying todays athletes are better there bugging...todays game is the softest its ever been....
I think Jordan's legacy doesn't go around his exploits only...it also goes around his personality. That fierce, dominant, confident, thoughtful personality you feel in him when he was on the court...and that charismatic and still strong and thoughtful personality you feel in him off the court, are what people look for in the "next Michael Jordan". I think unconsciously, we won't find another Mike till we find someone with a personality that makes us feel like Mike's made us feel...

Why everybody hating on my boy Kobe, all he did was be great on the court, and he never said he was Mike..so everybody that hates on my boy Kobe, go suck a fat Dick !!
wether or not ppl agree with me michael coming back solitified him as the best basketball player ever...look at all the greats as they got older shaq miller bird magic erving n turned 40 jordan the oldest player 2 hit game winners 50 point game 40 point games at that age we just all took it 4 granted but thats amazing his scoring ability at that age
I remember this date vividly. It was April 18, 1998. It was the last regular season game for the Bulls that season, and they played the Knicks at home. MJ scored 44 points. It all seems like yesterday, and not over a decade ago!
@FreshWesss i have this intro and game recorded on VHS and i used to watch it all the time before i went to boot camp. i left all my tapes with my best friend who loved MJ as much as i do.
Knicks/Jazz fan here so I would know a little about clutch and amazing Jordan really was: he is the greatest that I've ever seen hands down. Oh, and Lebron is better than Kobe who would have *maybe* one title without Shaq and that would be in 2001 when the rest of the West decided to shit themselves in the playoffs.
agreed w/ many of you here, MJ is the best along w/ many before him, to say anyone in today's league is better is an insult to all the the great ones!
kobe changed the series in game 4 when shaq fouled out and stepped up if he doesn't do that miller gets his 1st ring..as far as lebron tell his ass 2 develop a jumpshot half as good or as clutch as kobe's and shaq only gets credit for the 02 finals
There will never be anyone ever worthy enough to even wipe michael jordans ass (metaphorically speaking) and this is comin from a long time utah jazz fan. as much as i would love to hate him i respect the hell out of him

I think the only player who can enter in comparission with michael is kobe bryant, anyone who says lebron is the next jordan is a really chump, lebron with a lot of luck will win 1 champ kobe has 3 champs and will win this nba finals aganist the big three and the celtics neither pierce nor allen will stop black mamba's magic go lakers!!!!
first of all if jordan was in todays NBA, hed massacre and murder everyone cuz there so much space and room for him to move.. todays NBA is defense and threepoint orientated and that aint gunna intimidate mike. the golden age of basketball aka the 90's will always b the most challenging and story like sports era
I think the best players are the ones that change the game and have lots of rings, like Mike, Magic, maybe kobe. But mostly mike hahaha

Anyone know the exact date of this, or what team the Bulls played? Regular season or playoffs?

hehh , i think he never should have been a Wizard, but if he came back now he´d still be a pretty good player : )

I love this intro, but I wonder if other players were jealous. I mean he's got his own theme song people. I'd be jealous.

Well, "Be like Popeye" (as in Popeye Jones) doesn't really flow as well.

When he gets to 6 titles, get at me. No way in hell the current NBA is harder than in Jordan's day. Kobe is 2, but Michael will always be 1.
tigernike23 4 years ago 4
Kobe is not even the best player to ever play for the Lakers let alone the NBA. Magic is still way ahead.
