@Desi4evah The Tin Man was "amputated". The Wicked Witch of the East put a spell on his ax because he was in love with a Munchkin Maiden, and her mother forbad it. When he went to chop wood, the ax missed and chopped off various parts of his body until he was replaced entirely of tin. That is the backstory according to the original Baum text. It is also explained in the stage version. Therefore, he is not "gay." Don't be so quick to "ass-ume" that a soft-spoken gentlemanly man is "gay."
