  • I have a problem i've been working out for 2 years, mainly weight training and it has been working i could feel myself getting stronger and stronger and my muscles do show to a certain amount but i still have a lot of fat, them i found out that my muscles world show even more if i lost the fat so i started swimming again and i found out that using the treadmill will "cut" me and define my muscles but am not really motivated any more.   • So how about if I want to lose fat everywhere? Not just belly fat but fat on the triceps, fat in the pectorials, fat on the legs and the belly. These tips can work for those area sas well as belly fat coorrect. I've been doing cardio for a few days now as I've only just started.   • Seems like fat loss is still the simple old formula of - finding out what foods your body needs in the right proportions (so you feel stable and energized), eating those foods at a caloric deficit, and exercising or drinking plenty of water. Its not really a secret anymore. I don't think it has been. just so much marketing that confuses everyone. just google 'your fit assist' cuz it explains it more

  • Good nutrition should last a lifetime. Eat normally and make small changes which are acceptable to you. Don't make drastic changes that you won't stick to your whole life. It would be like trying to sprint through a marathon.

  • Very good advice. Thank you. I had a big tummy, and after serious core exercises i;ve lost 80% of it. Partially due to a 1 meal a day diet, I lost extra weight. Is it really necessary to eat 4-5 meals a day? If yes, what kind of quantity am i looking at at each meal? Like more in the morning or afternoon? or more at night before sleeping? Thank you.

    Eventually gave up with all the seat ups. Good thing is my friend got me to go swimming with him all the time and I think I'm actually seeing an improvement. Try that, or just any other sport and I think it'll be enough to make it go away :p

  • @Cookie17656 Lol. Smoke weed? Everyone who has smoked weed knows that besides all the other downsides, especially mentally, it makes you crave much more food and sugar than you usually do. This is often referred to as "the munchies". Not a very good tip now is it? The boxing one was good though, as that is something positively progressive for the body (most of the time).

  • @Edbuoy44 I'll give you a routine. Replace whatever you are eating with: Chicken, Turkey, Fruits, Vegetables, brown rice, sweet potatoes and unrefined natural food. Start doing cardio exercises like walking/jogging/running, like this man explained in a bit more detail. After a while you will see clear results, if you do those two steps right. I just repeated exactly what this man said in the video, but I guess alot of people have problems understanding him for some strange reason.

    In the morning dont skip brekfast eat fruit maybe two apples or one depending on how much you can eat and drink plenty of water

    from 7:00 am to 10:00 am is your breakfast time if you skip that time it will mess up the diet and DOOOONT EAT ANY BREAD

    lunch is 12 to 2 Pm eat what you like a normal lunch like a salad or a normal sandwhich

    for dinner eat a yogurt(not frozen yogurt) a healthy yogurt and a fruit

    keep away from ALL JUNK FOOD i promise that diet plan will work

  • Maintaining weight & fat percentage is no prob. Drink water every day, bike or jog for a little and cheat once a week. But losing fat is another question. Off course i'm speaking of When you have a thin & safe layer of fat, but maybee your not completely happy with.

  • @truthrestoredorg Only if you eat too much of them at once. If you eat a small amount it will be stored as glycogen in the liver, so no big deal. If you eat too much of it, once you're liver is full of glycogen, the excess of glucose will be transformed in triglycerids (fat), and stored in the adipocytes (fat cell under the skin).

  • Also, do you honestly think paleo man trimmed the fat off his meat. Do you think he only ate the white of the egg and not the yolk? Did someone tell him saturated fat was bad? Animal fat is not only okay to eat, it is essential to health, and animal/saturated fat is precisely what inhibits the secretion of insulin in the body and hence allows the fat cells to release fat for energy. It is also what provides the most satiety, which stops you from overeating and makes 5-6 meals unnecessary.

  • I seriously doubt prehistoric man ate 5-6 times per day. In fact, more than likely he ate a huge meal after hunting and then didn't eat for maybe a day or two. Hunting did require some fast running, walking, climbing, throwing, but it would not have been logical for man to have wasted unnecessary energy. After hunting he likely lay around or played games. People who like exercise tend to project that kind of activity onto Paleo man, but it makes no sense.

  • @ipod343934 first. you dont get metabolism, you always have it. but the rate depends on diet, and if you consume more calories than you burn, then your metabolism will have to deal with the extra, with fat.

  • The best way is to eat Japanese food. Especially REAL miso soup made from scratch. e.i. dashi broth (kombu infusion + dried fish flakes infusion) and fresh miso paste. Put some tofu, green onions and wakame. The hard part is to find the ingredients, but than you loose so much weight and you even to start to see results the next day. Dont't ever try instant miso soup. These are worst than mcdonald's cheese burgers.

I ate beans on toast in the morning, honey nut crunch for lunch then I had 100G of fries & 2 sausages 4 dinner. if i ever got hungry in between i had a bowl of dried honey nut crunch. I didnt do any exercise (maybe walking? i dont have a car) When i got to my goal i let up and let my self hover between 11.5 & 12. But i wud recommend doin what this guy says (i didnt hav £30 to spend on a gym & in my area if you go jogging u get kids trippin you up & worse

  • I'm trying to lose fat too; been doing it for three months now. I'm doing cardio everyday except Sunday. I do HIIT twice and 40 minutes cardio on other days. I'm not seeing any results yet and I've downsized my portions and ate relatively clean. Increased my water intake and weight train 2 days per week. I feel like giving up but I know I need to keep fighting.
