maybe the reason he doesnt "redline" is because the engine was bored out...in other words it has a stroker kit, therefore the redline was reduced, but bottom end torque increased......probably
@dc2rSpoon The NSX is Keiichi's personal car so just input it as Drift King's NSX-R or something :P Your welcome for correcting you though LOL not to be rude :(
reving the motor that high is not necessary. .for example cars on dyno. .if u guys notice dyno sheets say 200hp at 8000 rpm. .then theres no point reving a motor pass 8000, cause the max power comes at 8000. .
@dc2rSpoon - The DC2 has a cross-ratio gear set and doesn't need to redline because the close ratios don't allow the revs to drop below the engines peak power range.
Dang their age is getting old, but their spirit and passion for driving and tuning remains forever inside them up until today! Amazing drivers!

where u shift usually depends on the powerband and where the power is made.

@RacsQT only if it has runing on a uphill...
SlipshT 9 months ago
@RacsQT is necessary cuz when you shift to a higer gear the revs go down and you want to keep the engine on top of tha powercuve

Thats what i noticed too. Why does Orido shift so early and never redlines the ITR?
