after i wash my hair i make sure it's damp but not soaking wet and apply 2-3 pumps on my entire head...i blowdry and then usually apply a little to each section before i flat iron...i also i apply a little to the ends over the course of the week....
you may not need this much or you may need more depending on the thickness/coarseness of your hair, but i hope this helps :)
