The story follows canon information when it comes to the actual characters from the show unless it involves things about River and his relationship with Tony and the team.
TIVA is a possible idea for any stories set in the future, but as for current stories, since the show has not paired them up as a couple, it will not happen in my story, though they will still be very close.
