sounds beautiful man!! i'd like to see how you prepared the neck on the inside of the box, did you make a cutaway section so there'd be space between the tin and the neck?
i love simple builds, i even build mine with eyebolts rather than tuners LOL

Spectacular... I have a little mountain dulcimer that I've tired to slide on a few times, but yours is simply outstanding. Sounds like a resonator.

I call them a poor man's reso ;) This one has pretty hefty strings compared to a dulcmer: .044, .034 and .026
