  • Arphand is wrong! look up bmw rwd vs fwd

  • Arphand is wrong!

  • COROLLA ON AUTOJEN AUTO!

  • that my uncle car that my uncle in the voido

  • good job buddy. those RWD toyotas are the best

  • 197,630 people watched a bellend killing his ums car, wtf

  • Comment removed

  • cool... i love old toyotas

  • hey um what tailights are those? they seem different

  • First of all. Everybody talkin'bout FWD's and RWD's, one slight fact. FWD's tend to understeer in corners, RWD's oversteer. If you don't know what that means, shut up. AWD's ALLWAYS UNDERSTEER before oversteer because of throttle response. suck on it. That's how it is.

  • is this a chaser???

  • 4ag'd?

  • Two door ae!

    nice!

  • millä ajat nykyään?

  • \m/ awesome

  • its harder to pull then push that is why RWD is best

  • @ONXTC6

Think back when you where a kid, you could pull your wagon further than you could push it...lol..same concept. so your kinda wrong, why do you think pretty much every new car that DOESNT have a v8 or isnt a BMW or MERCEDES is front wheel drive?

Not only do they handle better but ttheyre actually more efficient because they eliminaate an elongated transmission and a drive shaft and rear differential, so

  • @Rampede No the reason why almost all new cars are FWD is because it is more efficient for the space in the vehicle and cost. All components are at the front, meaning passengers and luggage are behind (no tunnel) and by being able to assemble all the components before placing it in the car saves a ton of money. They are much better to drive in bad conditions such as snow. But they do not 'handle' better (torque-steer, bad weight dis.) because the two front wheel are way too overloaded.

  • @calladuz

i can see your point. lol but........in a RWD car you do 80 around a 35mph curve...and whats gonna happen, your ass end is going to slide out....in a front wheel drive, you generally roll befor you slide......so idk you can take corners allot faster without spinning out in a FWD and in a rwd your ass end kicks out. The weight dis. does suck though.

  • @Rampede LOL.

in rear wheel drive cars all front wheels are doing is setting direction, in fwd they set direction and are making the car move. yeah, rwd are harder to control and master, but if you do that they are much faster than fwd. fwd will never be as quick as rwd. K.T proved this in his ae'86 corolla TRD by winning a race against civic type-r. even more, he won race against gtr 34. u dont know shit.

  • @itsTheNike

nope your still wrong. first of all i wasnt even talking about being faster, im talking about handling, unless you can learn how to control your slide.....than a fwd handles better, dude your wrong. end of discussion

  • @Rampede

fwd dont handle better if u go into a corner to fast they sledge like hell and your fucked basicaly if u go in to fast in a rwd you lose the ass end but at least you can get it back. basicaly if u fuck up in a fwd u WILL crash in a rwd u will just proberbly crash

  • @averagejoe132 no, because it does the same thing as a rwd you just ave to be going faster to slide your ass end out in a fwd car.....why you ask, because thats where all your weight it....meaning you keep traction in the front and lose it in the rear...once again im right and your wrong. need i explain further? Not to mention if that happend when your driving a fwd car then your just an idiot and shouldnt be racing.

  • @Rampede

no it dosnt unless you intentionally transfer the wieght but swerving (scandinavian flick) it will understeer not oversteer. Feel free to show me a video showing otherwise or else face the fact fwds have inferior handling thats why no performance cars are fwd they are all 4wd or rwd.

  • @averagejoe132 Maybe like in a supercar type of race, but just stock racing....well shit....not the right racing....ok rally, fwd...i dont want to argue anymore, we are both right and both wrong in different subjects but i have to go play spaids....so im outty

  • @Rampede

We are not both right and wrong im right and your wrong as proven by your inability to find any videos/ proof to back up your point period.

  • @averagejoe132 dude i had to go play spaids i dont have the time to argue on fucking youtube, do you race, because i do, and its FWD rally class. you take a rwd to a rally track and tell me what happens.. now shut the fuck up because im done arguing.

  • @Rampede

dude the ford escort mk1/2s are rwd and are the most successful rally car of all time??? you fuckin rule is what happens btw still waiting for you to show me proof of your theory if your "done arguing" be done and stop replying to me

  • @Rampede FWD Rally, HAHA now ive heard everything....

  • @23742 FWD rally is a real thing they race like excels and shit not a particularly fun sport to watch imo

  • @23742 You have never heard about fwd rally cars? Now i've heard it all... :D

  • If you were really a rally driver even if it is fwd then you would know that on the road RWD cars do handle better.

Also the idea that FWD cars are more efficient because of the smaller drive line is a myth and its all to do with the way the gearbox is made. While yes the drive line does not have a tale shaft, the gearbox alone has a much greater power loss. on top of this for just road use a FWD car will cost more in the long run thanks to the extra wear on the front wheels

  • @ubxp Almost none of that was accurate. Handling of the car has very little to do with what wheels drive the car, rather weight distribution, total weight and the limit of grip. A front drive drivetrain is considerably smaller and lighter than a rear drive setup, lacking a heavy driveshaft, elongated transmission, and rear end assembly, whether it is a solid axle or independent setup. The longer the drivetrain, the more joints between power and the road, the more power you lose.

  • @Arphand What you are trying to argue is that a better built fwd car would win against a lesser rwd car, this is true but If they were equally well build then its all about the situation.

The idea that fwd cars have more power is a myth I don't have the characters to explain this youtube puts a nice limit on that just google it.

The quickest way to sum this up is no top lvl motor sport league uses FWD its all AWD or in f1s case still RWD.

  • @ubxp I'm a rwd guy all the way but let me explain to you that fwd cars don't have more power necessarily but lose less power. Let's say you make 500bhp now on a fwd you dyno 450 and on a rwd 435 and an awd 400. The more moving parts past the flywheel the more power you lose.

  • @305BoondockSaint This is a myth for the most part helped along by the fact that very few cheaper cars are RWD. what it comes down to is most of the RWD cars that are compared to FWD cars are older. (so cbb going further in to this)

and for the next person who digs up old 5month comments – This is not based on hearsay unlike all arguments I have heard thus far from Youtube, unless you have a legitimate argument to make don’t bother posting. I'm sick of getting replies to this months later.

  • @ONXTC6 I count only the person beetween stearing wheel and seat, no matter what brand the car is or is it a RWD, FWD or AWD

  • Comment removed

  • @neim1976 the point i was raising if you think about it... all pro drags cars are rwd..

because its easy to push a car then pull you dont see a fwd honda civic runing 6-7's do you no you dont because its not a sutable car rwd is best you cant use a fwd in rally because you cant correct it with throtle hence why there 4wd and you can power slide correct. all cars have there purposes but rwd is probly the best . fwd especially have no place in pro track racing and drag it just doesnt happen...

  • @ONXTC6 my mate has a honda civic pushing 9 seconds

    thats 400kw @ the treads

  • @ONXTC6 actually that is back-wards.. it less efficient to push then to pull using FWD.. In a FWD trans all the gearing is still working in the same plain of direction. on RWD the torque has to be redirected 90 degree to the left and right thus causing more torque loss.

  • rwd is better for torque......they dont race fwd in nascar because 1 guy said to much weight in the front end rwd is the best the power is distributed better for take off

  • why are the older ones rwd

  • coz they the shit. ke 4 life.

  • Toyota power for life!!

  • because they realised, manufacturing costs of a FWD are cheaper.

  • @66960 because not too many front wheel drive cars were invented yet, it was to compicated for the time

  • The Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Old Toyota's - Please give generously
