Hello all who have and are watching this ministry. I am one of the dancers in the video. I want to say that whenever we minister, it is truly for an audience of one. We are also aware that we are "a royal priesthood". That being so, we must dress accordingly. If a priest went into the holy of holies with flesh showing or any piece of his garment missing or out of place, he would die! What more for the modern day priesthood? As long as God is pleased we will minister from our hearts. Be blessed!

Shalom Sisters, keep dancing by the power of the Almighty. Even in dance we must remain chaste and virtuous. I wear this garment with pollazo pants underneath AND my head is covered when I minister. The fabric is very light. There was nothing distracting about these garments and their extensions weren't hindered. Our focus should've been on the message they were conveying. We minister to please God not man. Wonderful job ladies. I'm sure The Father was pleased.

people who say that they minister to please God, not man really don't understand what it means to be a minister (being in the service of God's people) and are usually mediocre at what they do. It is also for the edification of the saints and that's what we don't understand sometimes. Why do you go on a stage why not in your bedroom if it is to please God? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. It's in the Bible, read the principle, get the meaning. geeze.

If it were all about the people then you might as well just do anything, wear anything etc. It first has to be pleasing to HIM! As far as mediocre, you know how He felt about the woman with the mite compaired to the people with much wealth. Do your best according to His pleasure. The only thing I have to complain about is that there is one lady who doesn't know the steps and who is a 1/2 second behind because she keeps on looking at the other dancers. KNOW YOUR MINISTRY. She is also not physically fit and it shows in her lack of agility and strength. CSC- Committed Skilled and Consecrated.

The one girl had probably just learned the dance. I teach dance so that seems apparent. That's not really important anyway, because when she dances, it is for an audience of "One" My Father God. We just got blessed by being able to view it as well.

The dresses are so massive! They are swallowing up those poor girls. Being modest should not mean making the the girls look frumpy! They could still be modest while showing their figure. Having less fruffles would be more practical to dance in also.

With all due respect, If they are praising God, why do they need to show their figures? It's not about them, it's about ministering to God in such a way that he uses their ministering in dance to break the bands of the enemy, to set someone free, to touch someones heart. It's about ministry, not performance. Letting God move you. The attire was most appropriate so as NOT to call attention to their figures, but the ministering was key.

What's practical to you? Showing off how big their chest may be? Modesty keeps your eyes on their moves and the intent of the dance, not what shape their chest or rear is, unlike wearing a leotard which with nothing over it. That is immodest! It didn't look like the "ruffles" hindered them in any way LOL. These are set apart praise garments. We are to dress modestly at all times.

Practical to me is being able to move freely without being hindered. I never said anything about exploiting the body - and definately never said that wearing just a leotard is a good alternative.

This dance is to glorify God, right? I think that if these girls wore more appropriate clothing (ie. not long dresses, light material, not baggy sleeves...etc) this would have been a more beautful performance. You can show how beautiful how your body while dancing without exploiting yourself!

When some someone is worshipping God with singing for example, you don't limit the range that you can sing to just seven notes do you? This is what I feel like these girls are doing to their dance talent- limiting themselves from their full potential.

When the girls dance at our Church what they wear depends on what they are dancing.

Hiphop/jazz = elasticy jeans and a firm fitting tshirt

Ballet = leotard and tights with a lightweight short skirt - easy to dance in - shows no flesh, and their dance shoes.

Yea, we have a policy of no flesh shown, but the way someone dances - they way they move - is what glorifies God, so why don't they wear clothes that actually shows their body moving!?

"Let us do all things in decency and in order." As you know, the way you dress can have an influence on how you move as well and there are so many other elements involved. It's hard enough for men young & old to keep the victory over the flesh and they don't need to see some girl in a tight-fittng outfit jumping, bending, etc in front of them.

Whether they are wanting to be provacative or not it is provacative. Even sold out brothers can get weak at times, and we know men are sight-oriented creatures. It doesn't matter what type of dance we're doing, tight clothes on ones bosom and behind, combined with all the movements that we do makes it hard to concentrate on the worship itself.

Men have complained to the pastor at times because maybe someones outfit was a little too snug, they are trying to live holy but the flesh is the flesh and we are gonna be in it & battle it until be go to be with Jesus. We as dancers dance for an audience of 1, and we ought to be mindful of his Holiness and dress accordingly.

This is not performance or entertainment. we minister in dance to break yokes etc. It is ministry unto the Lord that his anointing will flow freely through us as There is so much beauty to behold from free-flowing dance and free-flowing garments.

Singing is so very different from dancing. It is all supposed to be to the glory of God. Maybe you should read up on what the praise dance is all about. When God send warriors out, he sent Judah (Praise) before the army to bring in praise and defuddle the enemy. There was dancing and singing and praise just before the enemy's camp was conquered and that is the intent of True worship dancers. Let me reiterate..It is NOT about performance.
