Just based on the recordings, the performance of this set from the year before ('86 Worlds)was more "in-your-face" (especially the drumming), whereas this is a "sweet" sound. (I like both sounds & listen to both performances!)
Was the other MSR set "The Argyllshire Gathering", "Cameronian Rant" and "John Morrison of Assynt House"?
This is an absolutely classic MSR. The tunes seem made for each other. I've listened to this set over and over and over and over again in my lifetime - like a mental patient. Amazing to finally see the video to it!

We can thank Bill Bamforth from Bradford in Yorkshire. He taught John Walsh, was a great fan of the band, and was always with vidcam in tow! M
