John, I was wondering if you know of any "fake" signed copies of TFiOS out there. It looked like you only signed the copies that had the plain white sheet with your signature on them.
Would it be possible that there would be a signature on the "title page" of your book? Many of these ones also have the "hanklerfish" on them as well, from what I have seen on the internet. I just don't want to get TFiOS signed by some guy named Keith.

So, I started here, when Hazel Grace brought me to you. I then worked my way back through the last five years of your lives. For me it's been only about 16 hours (over a few weeks), but seeing you evolve, succeed, and love embarrassingly, has been a study in awesomeness.
I came to Nerdfighteria late, but I am grateful for all you do for the community and the world.
This novel made me feel a multitude of emotions. I thought Looking for Alaska did that for me but TFiOS made me emotional on a whole new level. It was quirky, funny, informative, sad, and incredible. It means so much to me I don't think I can even let anyone borrow it haha. Thank you John. TFiOS truly made me happy to be apart of Nerdfighteria.
I got the last copy left in the whole bookshop where I bought TFiOS from, and I found out it was signed! I was so happy and it took me about 7 hours to read, loved it.
Unfortunately I only just got round to reading the book today and good god am I glad I did.
Because of recently being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome I was so focused on being logical, detatched, unimaginative and basically focusing on what the wikipedia page said that I completely lost interest in fiction for a while.
Your book revived my interest and for that, I cannot thank you enough.

TFiOs is my first time reading a John Green novel, but the I will be reading the rest of his books very shortly. I reacted to this novel similarly to the way I reacted to the end of Mocking Jay. Embarrassing, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Thank you John Green. :)

MY BOOK ARRIVED TODAY!!!!! I live in Estonia, Europe, so that is why it took so long to arrive but it finally did arrive and is signed and I'm very happy! And it arrived much earlier than expected. Amazon thought it may arrive at 14th February :-) but it arrived on 27th January, so that is great!
I'm super nervous that I may not get my book. I pre-ordered it MONTHS ago, and I don't remember if I had the shipping address to my apartment in FL or my home in PA. Now that I graduated college I moved back to PA. I was charged for the book, so it must have been sent, I just hope my old apartment complex forwards it to me. Still haven't recieved it.
Gahh! I finished this book the day I got it. My boyfriend picked me up from school and told me that he had bad news and automatically I thought "Oh...my book didn't come..." I just finished TFiOS and I am amazed. Such a touching, wonderful, relatable book. I must say, one of the best parts of reading it was discovering that the book references "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock." Do you know the feeling of having read and studied a poem that you later see used in a book? It's an amazing feeling.

I finished TFiOS yesterday. It was truly fantastic. I can't thank you enough, John. You had me in tears at several points in the book, and laughing at several others. I feel like Hazel, Augustus, Isaac, and everyone else are my friends, and that is a sign of a truly fantastic novelist. I'm doing a speech on it to my English class tomorrow for my assessment, since I loved it so much. Well done, John, and thank you.
I went on the day to Barnes and Noble, and even though I was excited to get the book, it wasn't the experience I would have liked. The weather and service was something to be desired, but once I had your book, I felt a relief that made everything better. By the way, I got a red signature!

So I got my book yesterday. My mum and I have agreed on me not reading the book yet, as I have exams the next week. I'm supposed to study now, but I just wanted to say that I did hold the copy in my hands, say the signature and flipped the hell out, my mum almost told me I could just read it because I was so happy... I haven't even read it yet, but I want to thank you already for signing it, never thought the book would get to the Netherlands so quickly!
I wish i would have video taped my opening of the book. my mom tossed the box on the couch and i almost fell of the other couch and grabbed it and tried to rip the box open, but it didnt work so i was like "ill just open it the way it should be opened" lol and i took a picture of the signature and put it as the background of my phone and almost started crying. i was like "J- SCRIBBLE!!!"
I got my copy today. Very late, 'cause I'm overseas, but I just started to jump up and down. It was signed. I screamed. I read the book in the time frame of 3 to 4 hours. It was amazing. John is an amazing writer.
I waited in anticipation for this wonderful book that i am proud to say is now in my top three favorite books. its an emotional roller coaster that I loved riding and am bound to do it again soon. I felt love,joy,pain and sorrow all in a seemingly small amount of time you are a truly great writer John Green and i thank you for this masterfully written wonderful book.

It really is a very good book. And it was signed - and it came from Amazon UK - I know I'm a lucky girl.... though now i'm jealous about this bookplate biz. Thank you John (and Hank for just being awesome) :)
@sextonkid101 That's probably because you've ordered it from amazon UK. Amazon UK and US are stupid and for some reason don't cooperate with each other which makes stupid stuff happen, like if you live in the middle of Europe they ship you the order from Delaware and take 40 days instead of shipping it from the UK. Which is fair enough, because it's our mistake for ordering it on .com, but still.

Guys! I just opened my box I got in the mail and I found out that my book was signed!!! (I just regularly ordered from Barnes & Noble, I didn't pre-order it) I saw the sticker on the front the said "signed copy" and I saw the J squiggle. I said "FRENCH THE LLAMA!" and jumped up and down. Made my day :)
I bought my copy from my local bookshop this morning and i've just finished it twelve hours later. I've never read a book this quickly. That alone is the best recommendation I can give as without John's way with words I am unable to praise it enough. Thank you Mr Green.
I can't wait for my copy to arrive!!!! Except it's getting sent to my mums house, and I live in the outback where we get post once a week, so it could be a while! :(

To see if you are allowed to say DFTBA.... You should only be able to say that if you understand a lot of nerdfighter vocab, and whatnot. You obviously did not pass the test. so you are not a true nerdfighter

I finished TFiOS yesterday. It was truly fantastic. I can't thank you enough, John. You had me in tears at several points in the book, and laughing at several others. I feel like Hazel, Augustus, Isaac, and everyone else are my friends, and that is a sign of a truly fantastic novelist. I'm doing a speech on it to my English class tomorrow for my assessment, since I loved it so much. Well done, John, and thank you.

I went on the day to Barnes and Noble, and even though I was excited to get the book, it wasn't the experience I would have liked. The weather and service was something to be desired, but once I had your book, I felt a relief that made everything better. By the way, I got a red signature!

So I got my book yesterday. My mum and I have agreed on me not reading the book yet, as I have exams the next week. I'm supposed to study now, but I just wanted to say that I did hold the copy in my hands, say the signature and flipped the hell out, my mum almost told me I could just read it because I was so happy... I haven't even read it yet, but I want to thank you already for signing it, never thought the book would get to the Netherlands so quickly!

I wish i would have video taped my opening of the book. my mom tossed the box on the couch and i almost fell of the other couch and grabbed it and tried to rip the box open, but it didnt work so i was like "ill just open it the way it should be opened" lol and i took a picture of the signature and put it as the background of my phone and almost started crying. i was like "J- SCRIBBLE!!!"

I got my copy today. Very late, 'cause I'm overseas, but I just started to jump up and down. It was signed. I screamed. I read the book in the time frame of 3 to 4 hours. It was amazing. John is an amazing writer.

I waited in anticipation for this wonderful book that i am proud to say is now in my top three favorite books. its an emotional roller coaster that I loved riding and am bound to do it again soon. I felt love,joy,pain and sorrow all in a seemingly small amount of time you are a truly great writer John Green and i thank you for this masterfully written wonderful book.

Amazon UK and US are stupid and for some reason don't cooperate with each other which makes stupid stuff happen, like if you live in the middle of Europe they ship you the order from Delaware and take 40 days instead of shipping it from the UK. Which is fair enough, because it's our mistake for ordering it on .com, but still.

Guys! I just opened my box I got in the mail and I found out that my book was signed!!! (I just regularly ordered from Barnes & Noble, I didn't pre-order it) I saw the sticker on the front the said "signed copy" and I saw the J squiggle. I said "FRENCH THE LLAMA!" and jumped up and down. Made my day :)
