  • What model/maker is the organ?

  • @halseacoast It's an Ahlborn-Galanti Chornicler I

  • Does anyone have a copy of Dale Wood's setting on ''Ar hyd y nos'' from his Seven Folk Tune Sketches'' for organ that they could possibly send to me as a PDF file? This collection of music is permanently out of print. I would greatly appreciate it.

  • @musicaorganum: I'm sorry to say that I don't have that in my music collection but If I ever come across it I will try to get it to you.

    Thanks.

  • @ns9987 Thank you. I truly appreciate it.

  • beautiful!!!!

  • you are definitly a person who feels the music with this song

  • I wholeheartedly agree. Nice to watch and to listen to. Well done!

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Yesterday (November 16), we sang Rise, Shine, You People! as our closing hymn. It is written by Ronald A. Klug and set to the tune, WOJKIEWIECZ, composed by Dale Wood. It is #665 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship in the Witness section. Just thought I'd share.

  • No emotion and feeling in that piece?? I disagree! Beautiful arrangement and nicely done! Gotta love Dale Wood's arrangements. The words of this song are awesome too.

  • Great job. I have have never heard this song before now but I really like it. The way you play the organ sounds great. Keep on doing God's work.

  • Dude, Dale Wood LOVED personal interpretation... Put some emotion and feeling into the piece, and re-decide your registration - BORING! Forget organ lesson rules and add some personalization. You need to FEEL it, not just play it.

  • Brings tears to my eyes, now I want to play it.

  • Very nice piece of music !

  • Thanks!

  • Beautiful

  • Nice job, sounds more like your own arrangement than Dale Wood's, and that's not a bad thing.

  • Impressive, playing from memory. Keep it up!

  • Much better. :)

  • I keep finding myself returning to this video. My grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer's, was recently placed in a nursing home. "Sweet Hour..." was one of her many favourites, and listening to this has brought quite a lot of comfort. Thanks again.

  • Thank you.

  • I mis the reverberation. This organ needs a lot of reverberation. because a real pipe organ with this possibilities normally stays in great churches with a lot of reverb. You can do a lot more with this organ than playing hymns!!!

  • The amount of reverb for this organ has been customized for the room that it's in. Adding too much just sounds fake. I'm not a big fan of alot of reverb because you can hear the stops more clearly. I like natural reverberation.

  • I love Dale Wood's stuff... I'm going to have to find a copy of this. Good show :-)

  • Thanks!

  • Beautiful. You've got the touch that so many organists lack. what kind of organ?

  • Thank You very much! This is an Ahlborn-Galanti Chronicler I, with a custom module by Sound Organ Design.
