@mustang8202 We went May 15 from Mobile. 7 days to Jamaica, Gr Caymen, Cozumel. The ship is great for the price. Was my 5th cruise and found nothing to complain about the ship. Great food, etc. Don't miss karaoke in the Cole Porter lounge!

I just back from cruising on this ship June 19th -25th to Progresso and Cozumel. Had a great time, just spent a lot of money... The lido deck is the happening place to be.

Hi, I am booked on this ship leaving this sat. from mobile to Progresso mexico then to Cozumel. It's my first time on a cruise. I hope to have as much fun as you all seem to have had . I am worried about sea sickness and much movement of the ship. We have a state room on the second floor. thanks for sharing this video.

why did the elation stop doing carribean cruises?

I've only been on the one cruise, so I can't really compare to other ships. My first impression was that it was a little outdated. But for the price, I would definitely go on the Elation again. But I'm sure there are a lot nicer ships out there if you want to spend more money. Also, I hear the Elation might be moving to L.A.

Thanks, I am booked on the Elation leaving from Mobile. Anyways, I saw some videos on here of a couple of different Carnival ships were the facet in the bathroom had sewage water running through it, not the Elation. But, have you heard anything about that happening on there? We are seriously thinking about canceling our reservations after seeing that. Both happened early this summer. Thanks again.

I've never heard of that and I can't imagine that wouldn't happen more than once or twice or they'd have a real problem on their hands. I wouldn't let those stories stop you.

Well, if it did happen, I am sure Carnival would be facing some serious charges. I know that it wasn't on the same ships, but I was just kind of stunned when I saw it. Thanks.

I have only heard of that happening on the older ships. The Elation is newer and the pipes have been updated. So I would assume it shouldn't happen. PS I live in Mobile so if you would like any tips just let me know. Contact me via youtubes I'm always on here.
