  • What TV series was this song use for ? Responses to: ilivebarefoot@yahoo.com

  • What TV series was this song played ??? ,......???? Does anyone know ?

  • Ok, so I want to play SW in a movie about him. Does anyone know some filmmakers that would take on this project? 30 century man was awesome, but I would like to do more of a story-line of the trajectory of scott's career. I have studied his moves and can sing like him and would love to just try it if anyone else has the same love as me. I live in Austin, TX but can travel.

  • WOW! the more I hear this the richer it grows. Scott is my best guess as to what I will hear when I reach heaven (if I'm lucky). You win Scott!

  • the gorgeousness is untouchable... UNTOUCHABLE.

  • One of my favorite songs of all time. It's so gorgeous.

  • Scott Walker is a pop craftsman; if pop music was jewelry store, then Walker's music is Harry Winston...

  • what a load of UTTER CR*P!!!!!!!

  • There's a point in the video at 00:40 where it switches to a rather grainy old photo of Scott and he simultaneously sings 'Damn that photograph, I'll have to take it down!"

It's as if Scott is commenting on your video! Hilarious stuff

  • Kitchen sink drama played out beautifully.Genius.

  • i love these meloncholic tales. he has an amazing gift for storytelling, the lyrics are wonderful.

  • i love stumbling onto beautiful music on youtube :)

  • Just learned this on Guitar : )

  • these verses are the great lyrics, I have been encountered unexpectedly

  • I've just read that he performed this on his TV series. What another lost wonder. How crap are the BBC for wiping the tapes.

  • you're so right psychodamned. idiots for getting rid

    of his tapes. IDIOTS!

  • @psychodamned ah, fuck. that really and truly sucks. this is one of my favorite, if not my very favorite early scott walker song, it's so evocative, makes me think of a strange hammer paranoia film. i would kill to have lived in the UK and to have seen those shows.

  • I know someone like Rosemary, great song !!! Soooo sad but true x

  • One of my all-time favourites. Don't ignore the wonderfully sensitive string arrangement by Wally Stott (later Angela Morley) - who died earlier this year. Apparently SW compared WS' input to "like working with Delius"

  • who,se delius
