Scritchit loves to chew the cage bars so I clip paper and card to the bars and it keeps her happy for ages chewing that instead of the bars ! The paper is from a present she received called 'The Hamster Times' which is a little book containing sheets of coloured paper especially for chewing for hamsters. There is a pic of it on her website page. Hope this helps !
I'm not sure how old she is but I'd guess a few months old, she's been with me since 1st May this year [2007] - she was a 'stray' who needed a home and I was lucky enough to be able to take her in !
I didn't find her myself but yes, she was found on the streets, obviously escaped from somewhere. When her home wasn't found she needed a new one, and hooray - here she is with me !
