A Caravan is not even close to the amount of space, and cant pull near the amount of towing capacity. And 14-19 mpg isn't bad for what you get in space. I carry 6 people and tow a boat that's 5000 lbs with mine, try that with a Caravan! lol Everyone loves riding in it, way more comfortable that anything on the road, including a luxury car.

Nice beast, but rarely seen in this side of the ocean. Did you import that yourself? AFAIK there's no official importer for Chevy Express in whole Europe. I'd love to have a camper van based on Chevy Express with Duramax Diesel 6.6 V8... :-) The sound of a 4-cylinder diesel in European vans is just extremely dull!

Nice van, what are your mpg? I have a 1993 CHEVY 5.7 15c/19hw-EPA MPG, HIGHTOP conversion van, atleast 6" taller. Mine has a whole lot more wood in my grey interior, and very dirty carpets...lol. I hope when I get new carpets, the cigarette stench will go away.

Best 19 and worst(not pulling a trailer of course)14.5 mpg;if you want it to smell like new(who wont)get a steam cleaner and do the carpet very well and everything else than you will be happy with it.I liked my van very much but,here in Europe I couldn't afford it so,i sold it.

Couldn't aford it. I'm guessing the fuel cost. My van has 272,176 miles on the engine, but it still runs great. When the engine finally goes bad I was thinking of putting a 6.2L diesel in it that wouldmake it get about 23-24MPG in the city like my dads wrecked 6.2L gmc van and maybe in the late 20's MPG on the highway.His ran fantastic, but never got to do a highway milage test.

Theres no way your getting 15/19! You have the old engine before the Vortec, your lucky to get 12/16.

That was the EPA estimate on that EPA website. I'm actually getting 14.7mpg in the city and 14.1 on the highway. My rear axle is kind of screwed up. When I instal the new one I expect to get at no less than 15City 19Highway with all of the complete modifications. I think my new K&N air filter has increased my city MPG by 1 or 2MPG. Oh when I first got my van, I was getting about 5MPG city 8 MPG highway before I started to work on it with my dad.

Toyinfinity, the Votec came in 2001 model and up. this is a 2003+. get the facts--and you DEFINITELYcan get 19mpg. I get 18.5 at 9500 ft. above sea level!
