Militarizes have a HUGE overhead system to feed soldiers and give them machines for them to wash their uniforms. Like i said, there is more to a military than riflemen. For the first time in my life I'm proud to be an American b/c of Barack Obama. With the differences he can make & the knowledge Barack can bring with Biden will change the world & not just America. Check out the "Daisy" ad from 1964, the slanders of Reagan as a war-monger, the vilification of Gingrich for trying to "starve children" the taking of McCain's "100 years" comment out of context or the distortion of his health care plan. They ALL do it. The particulars may change but the tactic is the same.

That's attacking the messenger and avoiding the content. Republicans attacked Gore's character rather than debating the science of global warming. Reason: republicans knew they couldn't win arguments based on the merits, so they stick to what they do best, smearing and attacking character.
