lisa did the right thing taking the bit!! i mean...if veronica isnt smart enaugh to feed her own horse...and relize that the bit is makeing her mouth sore...she shouldnt have a horse!!!
Max didn't get meaner. The Saddle Club got stupider. They wouldn't pull something like this in the books (if they did, it'd be a better plan and it's be STEVIE'S plan). Plus, Max would act in the exact same way. He's always been reasonable. The series has just gone downhill. Honestly the only characters that remain remotely similar to the books are Max and Veronica.
When Veronica asked where Garnet was the next day Stevie should have lied and said, "Garnet jumped the fence this morning. We tried to catch her because we know how much you love her Veronica, but she's long gone and it would be impossible to bring her back home."
Ehm, I don't get how the bit Veronica put on Garnet would hurt her mouth. And why would a different bit help the horse when it doubts for a fence. Would that be sort of backwards?
I LOVE Max in this season, he is perfect! he isn't meaner in this season, what the saddle club did was ILLEGAL. If another rider at my stable 'hid' my horse I would have called the police immediately. The Saddle club would never do something that stupid in the books.
And Veronica is only using a twisted snaffle, they aren't THAT harsh, if it were a Tom Thumb the saddle club's actions may be justified.

@Justasam I k when I was trying to find a bit that would work for showing my horse i tried a twisted snaffle it just depends if its a fast twist that has a wire. they move too fast to see how fast it is
I think they hired a new writer for the series, because this new writer or whoever it is, made Max's character very unjust. I like veronica's character, but at times..she's really hard to understand. Do you get me?
