Both great comic actors in their own way, quite different styles though. Alan partridge is a more rounded character I think, Ali G is more improvisation, love them both

Before I had seen _Borat_, I saw "Ali G" once or twice and thought it was unfunny. Since then I've died laughing at a couple of the shows, and I liked _Borat_ a lot. But here and there I think the embarrassing questions go too far. Like here, asking about anal sex: not funny.

Two of my favorite _Ali G_ shows on YouTube are him visiting an environmental protest in England and an abortion protest in the U.S. Oh, and the intro to the nuclear protest is very funny. "And maybe have a rumble." lol
