I loved the F.O.B. Danny and John went to my H.S. in Dallas - same time as my sister and I. A number of us became fans and got to know them. After a few years they broke up. Danny and John emerged as England Dan & John Ford Coley. They had a great career; I managed to see then in concert here and there. Danny and John broke up and Danny went back to is background of country music. He had a great career; sadly he passed away from cancer in 2009 (there's a link to him on John's web page).
@jeffthrow6892 You'll have better luck looking for England Dan and John Ford Coley because that is who this is. They changed their name before the mid 70's when they had hits like "I'd really like to see you tonight". This song is on either their debut album or the 2nd one. I have them all and really love the way harmonize. England Dan is the brother to Jim Seals of Seals and Crofts. Music runs in the family I guess!
@survivrs -- Even if those two were involved with this band, we're talking a totally different time frame, & different type of music here. I'm more interested in this obscure bands psych '60's music than some MOR '70's stuff, sorry..... And, I believe, this Southwest F.O.B. album has been reissued on CD, so, it is out there to be discovered.....
@jeffthrow6892 Yeah, it's out there, I found it and plan on buying the C.D. The only reason I know it's England Dan and John Ford Coley is because John F.Coley has a page on Facebook and he brings up that before they became "England Dan and John Ford Coley", they were Southwest F.O.B.(Freight On Board). I was pretty pumped when I found the C.D. because it said on his FB page that it had been reissued but I don't remember when. Prob. late 90's. I love the album cover also.

Love this song. Have been playing it for years!!!
So many great under rated 60's songs that have never been heard by the masses.
So sad....
