These animations were originally made by someone else for a campaign being made. The project was dropped though. It's on Campaign Creations.

We have to be patient with the design process and be sure to provide lots of feedback to Blizzard if we don't think their models are that great yet. I have a little leaflet from before SC1 came out and in it you can see original models and other things that were changed.

I wish you were making the models for Starcraft 2... Starcraft 2 looks too much like a big bunch of polygons fixed with round edges and too much anti aliasing and ultra small textures :P

I dunno, its really impressive fan vid, but that thing would be hard to distinguish from the ground, and from the other units with it's dull colors. It is also much too detailed to fit in the game, graphics-wise. And it seems a little too old fashioned. I like the look of the new one, and all the stuff that happens when it transforms. I admit the units for all three races could be a little grittier though, for sure.  They've done some good improvements with the terran texture though
