  • Beautiful. Amazing music. Thank you

  • LES BEAUX VIEUX TEMPS

  • Manfila Kante on the guitar, ALLAH BLESS. R.I.P. Great AFRICAN (one) music.

  • regarde bolder gazet van antwerpen

  • S.O.U.V.E.N.I.R.S !!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRES BIEN....

  • While not the best sound quality of several versions available , this is an ABSOLUTELY CLASSIC chance to see a number of legends in their earlier forms. In particular, KELETIGUI DIABATE , who is LUCKILY still in great form with HABIB KOITE's . Also we get to see a younger KANTE MANFILA in good form, as well as [of course] SALIF. R.I.P KANTE MANFILA......THANK YOU FOR YOUR ABSOLUTE CREATIVE GENIUS. YOUR MUSIC WILL BE IN OUR HEARTS AND EARS FOREVER!!

  • Make me happy cose remind me my dear father

  • he is killer yeeeaaaaahhh man.. fuckin hell ihr gott verdammten motherfuckers :)

  • SHEESH my manz hit a flip while playin drumz.. ODEE skills

  • Haunting and beautiful. Manfila's guitar and Salif's voice - what a combination!! Manfila's tone on this is spectacular and his solo is one of the best I've ever heard. Amazing! Music from the heavens.

  • HERE'S WHAT IS REALLY AMAZING........ not only do we get to see a youthful SALIF, but also KANTE MANFILA, and most astounding is that the violin player is non other than the Guinean master balaphon player KELETIGUI DIABATE from ORCHESTRA NATIONAL ''A'', who is mercifully still playing the balaphon like a madman with HABIB KOITE'S band, . Thank you so much to whoever uploaded this vidio. Music form this golden era is few and far between on vidio.

  • Incredible!! seeing a young Salif Keita & Les Ambassadeurs.

  • Omg. This is like finding GOLD on Youtube! My o My! Look at a young slim and sleek Salif! Absolute GOLD

hello everyone, could someone tells me about what is this song?

    merci thanks

  • The more hear of Manding music and Salif Keita, the more I enjoy finding more examples like this. One might think that God made him an albino to call him to be His griot to tell us something we need to know.

  • I love it

  • Thanks for uploading this video....Oh my god i just saw my uncle who was a member of this group...sadly he passed away two years ago....he is the one playing the guitar in the back on the left....RIP Issa Niare

  • Best of the best. We are so lucky to listen to such music. I just can not find an adequate expression....

  • Sublime and beautiful. Salif is wonderful and Manfila Kante on guitar is amazing. One of the most wonderful things I've ever heard.

  • I found this whilst looking for Hank WIlliams Sr. COld Water but what a suprise! Up there or beyond Thomas Mapfumo!

  • Salif Keita has been accurately described as the Golden Voice of Africa because of his quality of his voice but there is just too much more to his voice when one listens to his lyrics and the depth of Mande History, interrelationship between Mande surnames and the ambience of every day romance.

  • jadoreeeeeeeee ça fait tellement du bien d'ecouté les musiques de salif

  • At this time thanks for everithing:))))

    Smile from Magar

  • This was filmed in either 1979 or 1980 - Brilliant track from the album of the same name as the track title.

  • wow!

  • Excellent

  • an epic Malian tune - and a fantastic performance by Salif and the entire band - violin, sax, drummers, backup singers - this is a gem from the early days of Independence and the optimism and hope is palpable - love the Temptations-style elegance
