Gracias por este paseo Jaime! todo un detalle pensar que, aunque tú puedas estar acostumbrado, haya gente como nosotros que les resulte fascinante una vuelta por un portacontenedores. Gracias de veras.

Hello! I'm glad you liked the video. I'm working on a Car Carrier (RO/RO Vessel) right now, so I'll see what I can shoot and post it so you can check it out later. Take care and thanks for the comment.
Even now, as I approach my mid-thirties, containerships, and the sea in general, hold as much fascination to me as they did when I was a preteen. This video is something I've been longing to see in person since my family's trips to the port of Charleston, SC; especially the view down the anchor's chain port, and the wave-breaker just below the surface. Godspeed in avoiding the pirates; they seem to be making a helluva comeback, bad news for all those at sea. Great job with the steady cam, also.
Im hoping to get into container/freighter work sometime within the next 2-4 years, iv got some other things going on right now,Iv always had an incredible interest in the ocean. Iv read a lot and apparently pirates are just as active now as they have ever been. Good luck. hope you don't get attacked. :)
Hi. Thanks for your comment. Working on merchant ships is very interesting work. You get to travel all over the world. Unfortunately it's becoming harder every day due to all the documentation a seaman needs to have just to step on a ship. But in the end, when you step out on the bridge wing on a clear night in the middle of the ocean... it makes it worth all the trouble. So... go for it. Best of luck!
looks a real shaby ship to me

I dont doubt for a second the caution you need to take for the pirates, especially after some of the more recent happenings. Nice filming, thanks.
