Love the lyric - and the little knowing smile on Frankie's face as he delivers some of the slyer lines! It's so unfair that this fabulous voice has been silenced
Creedona my compliments on the post. And THANK YOU. Ya know, it makes one wonder what Rod Stewart, who at one time had a more honest approach to a song...could have done if the ice cream had not gotten to him....
Looking at some of the song credits "Fraser" appears on "Be Good To Yourself" & "Double Heart Trouble" so I guess that is Andy Fraser of Free fame and of course Simon Kirke was with him at that time.
this is a nice version...much poppier than what the brothers did...very nice...almost bellamys meets rick springfield type of thing...very very nicely done!
Great song and crackin' rythmn section : Chrissie Stewart on bass and Simon Kirke on drums !

I could have sworn this song was Frankie's which was later covered and was a hit by The Bellamy Brothers.
Check out Frankie's Web site.

Sounds a LOT like Rod Stewart!
I like this song.
Has anyone ever heard the Bellamy Brothers version of this? It's slower but keeps the same movements...
I am really impressed with this!
