  • Great song and crackin' rythmn section : Chrissie Stewart on bass and Simon Kirke on drums !

  • Miller....Robertson....and Kirke....Bloody brilliant. How many pints were consumed during the making of "Dancing in the rain"? :- ) God Bless

  • Bloody brilliant!!! I have a copy of this album on vinyl - signed by Frankie, Brian etc. I grew up listening to Frankie - superstar and a legend!!!!!

  • God I love this!

  • Absolutely Fabulous................

  • amazing footage....

    You luuuuuuuuuuuuucky man/girl.

I want this collection to buy n own..

  • Bellamy Bros give it more soul!

  • You should hear Danny Spanos sing this on his LP, their voices are alot alike. Where is Danny anyway? Cheers Frankie!

  • but frankie wrote it!!

  • Does anyone have this song with Sally Kellerman from the movie You Can´t Hurry love,?? please contact me....

  • Frankie didnt need to cover unless he liked...this is his!!!!!

  • I like Frankie Miller, and that's the thruth!

  • I love Frankie Miller and this is one of my favorite songs of his.

  • KIM CARNES recorded her version in 1986 ("Light House" album).

Song composed by Frankie Miller, D&H. Bellamy & Jeff Barry.

  • an old bellamy brothers song (with a kick)

  • I could have sworn this song was Frankie's which was later covered and was a hit by The Bellamy Brothers.

    Check out Frankie's Web site.

    Scotland

  • Sounds a LOT like Rod Stewart!

    I like this song.

Has anyone ever heard the Bellamy Brothers version of this? It's slower but keeps the same movements...

I am really impressed with this!

  • Frankie was singing like this when Stewart was digging graves in Highgate !!

  • Frankie Miller gave me so many nice moments, for inatance walking home drunk after a party with my friend singing this song out loud....

  • Hope you are well today, I pray for you

  • Love the lyric - and the little knowing smile on Frankie's face as he delivers some of the slyer lines! It's so unfair that this fabulous voice has been silenced

  • I love the cover by Sister Whiskey but this version is cool too of course =]

  • Absolutely cracking song and a wonderful voice

  • Bought back some memories ... doctors and lawyers weren't as fun.

  • frankie absolutely rocks, I wish his recovery well

  • I just love Frankie Miller, does anyone has a video of the song "Dancin in the rain"? I am looking for it such a long time now.

  • probebly the best scotish artist ever:P

  • who's the guy on guitar? he looks cute...

  • xxx, it's Brian Robertson, ex-Thin Lizzy.

  • Yes, it's King Kirk on drums. He works very well with these strong singers! Proven.

  • its robbo! don't care much for frankie miller but robbos a legend.

  • Creedona my compliments on the post. And THANK YOU. Ya know, it makes one wonder what Rod Stewart, who at one time had a more honest approach to a song...could have done if the ice cream had not gotten to him....

  • Is that Simon Kirke playing drums ?

  • Possibly. I know he worked with Andy Fraser quite a lot.

  • Looking at some of the song credits "Fraser" appears on "Be Good To Yourself" & "Double Heart Trouble" so I guess that is Andy Fraser of Free fame and of course Simon Kirke was with him at that time.

  • this is a nice version...much poppier than what the brothers did...very nice...almost bellamys meets rick springfield type of thing...very very nicely done!

  • A Gem, dowe have a date for this clip ? looking at BR hair im thinking early 80's

  • 1986
