Now tell me has the UN stopped the genocide in Darfur? Have the aided the 600,000- 1,000,000 Iraqis mamed or dead? I disagree with you. What about the efforts in Lebanon, Chad, Rawanda, and Somalia? You are right... its not completely succesful. Lots of beauracracy, nations aren't always willing to commit... but the fact that we can actually get all the nations of the world to meet in a building and talk diplomacy is one of the most beautiful accomplishments in modern history.

Don't wish harm upon anybody. Granted that Chavez is an evil person, but Christ show us to be compassionate toward our own enemies. I would rather see civil disobedience and general strike. If the people top working the regime will collapse. Freedom in Venezuela is in peril.

The poverty in Venezuela is globally now 15% it was 80% in 1992, of course the 20% that had money in 1992 have less now and they complain, but dont worry for them they still lucky.

I lived under a communist regime and I know. I am not against Socialism, but it simply does not work because the leaders in power get corrupted and exploit their own people.
