very few real mandarin speakers (beijing, liaodong, tianjin) people go to Hong kong compared to other chinese. Most Mandarin speaker (beijing people) are actually more intelligent and well mannered than cantonese and choose professional careers, only the rural mandarin provinces like Henan have nasty people.
These video show 1 or 2 mandarin migrants speaking broken Cantonese with mandarin accent, don't be stupid to think we HKers can't tell the difference. Even the ones in Guangdong don't speak like that. Besides if you look at all the HK TV interviewing mainlanders who give us trouble, 99% of them are mandarin speakers. My parents came from Chaozhu, they all speak fluent Cantonese like me. Any one of us can easily pick out the ones who are not native Cantonese speaker.
you dont know Mandarin if you claim these are native mandarin speakers. Beijing people will think that shandong mandarin sounds weird and ugly, same with southwestern mandarin. They are very different and will have very different accents when speaking cantonese.
Hunan and sichuanese do not speak standard mandarin as first language. They speak SW mandarin or xiang, and pronounce standard mandarin with broken accent, just like you teochew. Beijing and liaoning people are well mannered.

These video show 1 or 2 mandarin migrants speaking broken Cantonese with mandarin accent, don't be stupid to think we HKers can't tell the difference. Even the ones in Guangdong don't speak like that. Besides if you look at all the HK TV interviewing mainlanders who give us trouble, 99% of them are mandarin speakers. you dont know Mandarin if you claim these are native mandarin speakers. Beijing people will think that shandong mandarin sounds weird and ugly, same with southwestern mandarin. They are very different and will have very different accents when speaking cantonese.
Hunan and sichuanese do not speak standard mandarin as first language. They speak SW mandarin or xiang, and pronounce standard mandarin with broken accent, just like you teochew. Beijing and liaoning people are well mannered.

@NeoTranshuman In terms of culture, education, political system, believes, they are completely different. Chinese from Mainland China doesn't have freedom of speech, don't believe in hygiene, don't believe in equality of human value, intolarent to people with different values, thoughts and racial background. Speaking Chinese and look Chinese doesn't mean we are the same.

It's just 14 years since HK was handed over to the Commies and it's already that bad. In another 14 years HK is just like Shanghai, Shenzhen etc. but international investors will favor Mainland cities because it's still cheaper. Being different to Mainland China always was the key to success for HK, but nowadays HK is trying to become as Commie Chinese as possible. Instead of staying international, they are creeping up Peking's ass. HKers must be masochists.

真受不了视频里的那些人，但是为甚我家乡的人并不是这样的。 我们出去买衣服从来不会在fitting room以外换衣服，公车上现在也已经很少有人大声讲电话（当然偶尔是有那么几个的，车里的其他人都会非常鄙视他们），排队很少有人插队了，等等。
我家乡是浙江省的嘉兴，在上海跟杭州中间的那个，被称为吴越边境。我们的主要语言是各种“吴语”方言。

I think this video is quite extreme. Alhtough HK is quite "another country", Hong KONGERS should understand where this behaviour comes from. Check on Cultural REv. -- Even if you go to Shanghai, the locals complain about these "mainlanders" that HK complains about. Beiing, Guangzhou etc etc.
What really bothers me the most is how many HK make fun of them when most mainlanders that come to HK (many times) instead of showing them what the REAL CHINESE Culture is. TEACHING, Learning is the Key.
