I heard about her from the Vietnamese at work. She was very popular in her day, up until she was diagnosed late with MS. It rapidly disabled her and she died in 2001. She had a unusually lovely voice, appearance, and as far as I can tell, person -- unlike far too many of our pop stars. There's an ilovengoclan website out there devoted to her.

I remember reading a Vietnamese newspaper at the time about her death. From the symptoms that they mentioned, I wondered if she had Multiple Sclerosis. It is a neurodegenerative condition. She had a beautiful and gentle voice.

folks, she was 44 when she died. i was at her funeral, she didn't have white hair. it was black and she wore a crystal braid-like head piece, the same one she wore in the Viens m'embrasser video. i don't know the exact cause of her death, but definitely she did not have white hair. she was dressed almost like a bride. seems like you weren't even there, vietxangel.
