I believe this is a very early version of the song, maybe a demo recorded by Noel. I believe it can be heard in a documentary about Oasis on the road. Liam plays the demo in the bus' stereo.

I love the original but god this alt version is really really good! Eventually we'll get box sets and anniversary editions with all this stuff in CD or better quality audio... Possibly with Liam singing... Meanwhile, will this version show up in a High Flying Birds gig?...One can just imagine the reaction.

BTW, My favorite of the Youtube videos for Hinud Times is TriGF_hoWTI (search Youtube for that link or the name "The Hindu Times 2002") which is a tv performance of "Hindu Times" where Liam was chewing gum throughout...one of his best "Lennon channeling Johnny Rotten" type vocals. Seems to be an alternate recording that was used as a lip sync track but it is smoking
