Paying income tax in America is Voluntary - Right!

Harry Reid is an idiot! Try to keep your employer from withholding taxes. Most companies won't even consider it, but on the off chance that your could do it you would be penalized by the IRS for not withholding.  There's nothing the least bit voluntary about our tax system. Just one more example of Reid's incompetence.

I guess he is right to an extent, there's no direct force of involuntary income taxation, you can choose whether or not to file that return, but if you don't, the gov't fucks you. what he is saying is that there is not a substantial direct withdrawal income taxation in america. the whole thing is an illusion of choice.

actualy I was talking to a person of the age of about 75 and he told me that the fed tax that we pay was to pay off our debt of world war 2 so in fact we are payed up just the fed hasent relinquished their part of the deal. Other wise we would have been debt slave to it wich we aperintly are and secondly we need to lOOK at the second set of books our loving states keep with out mosts knowledge called COMPERHENSIVE FINANCIAL ANNUIAL CREDIT REPORT check it out and be suprised taxes go to budget

actually he is right..it is voluntary to pay taxes...look at how many politicians opt out of paying them and suffer no repercussions...well...I guess it's only voluntary if you are the ones writing the laws
