Does Chameleon bootloader, fakeSMC slow down the Mac system? Does it add any unwanted programs, I just want a fresh install of Mac OS X Snow Leopard :)
Hi! I hope you answer my question because I'm about to buy the GTX 285! Did you install the original driver for GTX 285 that comes with it? Because this video card was build for mac, also, wasn't it? And if you installed, it worked well (no problems of compatibility etc)? Thank you!
Hi, you can just use a Graphics enabler with the 285. While the PC version of the GTX 285 is not exactly the same as the Mac one it should run without any problems.
yo man whats up like your setup. i have a hack of my own check my vid lol. but i got some questions cause i want to build another one but with your same specs. what kexts and boatloader did you use.??? like i used empire efi would that would if i use the same things you used.please respond thanks man.

@Fivesenzes
In theory fakeSMC will slow down the system somewhat, however this difference is so extremely small that it's not noticable.
So in other words, no, none of the tools I used will impact the performance in any way you would notice.

No usually you gotta reinstall 2 or 3 drivers but thats no big problem really. All in all it depends on your system configuration.

Use Macdrive to restore your previous kexts, if you got them backed up. I'm no personal helpdesk so ask around forums.

Well I never had a crash in all my time using it (6 months or so) so there you go
Doesn't matter what RAM you use btw.
