I watched the tutorial. He wasn't smooth but he showed you very clear steps. When you are doing it, don't execute the steps separately. It will look like you're marching. Try to link the all the steps together to make it smooth.

You did alright on the push, the pull you didn't put all your weight on the other legs, both still supporting the weight so it looks crippled. Try to practice on the pulling a bit more.
