  • AWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN DOOSH DOOSH DOOSH DOOSH DOOSH

  • "I´m the evil Lord" (and then press 7 and listen)

  • Thank you for an very educated indepth explanation of the anti lag system. It will aid in other people on here understand more clearly what it does.

  • Also anti lag is very rough on cars but it was really devoloped for highly modded rally cars and it is very common after races alot of parts are replaced. Like brakes clutches sometime turbos and stuff like that. But the guys who race pro have sponsors so they don't pay for any of that. So it's not something I would put on a street car or atleast not use it alot. Cause it will fry your exhaust system really fast but that's my two cents

  • You're speaking of rally-style anti-lag, which activates anti-lag timing parameters any time the throttle position is reduced. This keeps positive pressure stabilized, even when throttle position is reduced. This way, when throttle position is applied once again, the driver's right back into optimal operating power. This is HELL on exhaust valves, turbocharger turbine wheel & CHRA, as well as cooling components, but is the most effective means of staying in operating power band.

  • Typically, the anti-lag method used on street and street & strip vehicles, is used to induce a pre-ramping of positive pressure to aid in stabilizing as early as possible. This is mostly used for launching... Or showing off... But it's very useful for either. :)

As long as the duration is kept to a minimum, and cool-down time is allowed in between, the exhaust valves and turbocharger turbine wheel & CHRA will be fine. It's all about keeping sustained heat down.

  • It's not running too rich the smoke is when the ALS kicks in. It is supposed to do that

  • OH MYYYYY GOOOODDDDD!!!!! that was AWESOME!!!!

  • hell yea your running that thing way to rich!

  • Actually, not at all.

  • is anti lag bad for your engine ? as i was thking it might help with running big hp on 94 octane.

  • @HTown84Star probably does lol ahahha

  • is that a good thing?

  • @drew4793 anti lag regulates boost pressure but kills ur turbo so in words it has a good side and a bad side

  • looks pretty sick.

  • launch control

    2-step

    :D

  • ... No, it's anti-lag, I promise you. I don't know why that's so unbelievable, the car does have AEM EMS.

  • LAUNCH CONTROL MAN...

  • @booya257~dont be a dumbass.

  • @marek0086 hahaha lol that was funny.

  • bro thats so sick i wish my m3 can do that

how do u make it sound like that

  • You can buy it on ebay, it's like 45 bucks.

And you also put a bit of brake fluid with a 50% bleach on it. :D

    Yayyy!!!!
