I have trouble with the beginning of the song due to the very false cadence and tone of the conversation. Obviously it's not an actual conversation. It seems to be more like some woman talking to herself while rocking in the corner of a mental hospital and the music represents her imagined danger and distress, possibly reflecting on earlier childhood trauma.
