This theme made you feel like a badass just stomping through the first level jamming out.......little did you know that the rest of the game would kick your ass
You know what I love about the SNES music. It had a very 80's keyboard new-wave sound to it (usually with most of the soundtracks to all the games) and seeing how I was an infant and my parents were playing that around me quite a bit it is a sound I latch onto. Bottom line what it comes down to is, which version of this you like. Art is subjective. There is no right or wrong only what you like.
I swear, this is the best Castlevania song I've ever heard, and probably one of my favorite soundtracks in the series. Aside from Super Castlevania 4, my favorite Castlevania game without a doubt.
Hearing this come out of a Super Nintendo just makes you drop the controller and sit there in awe of what is coming out of your 90's shitty television ...just wow.
gee i heard from avgn that in the dracula battle, you apparently fight him with a speedo. wtf is up with that. and dracula is a hard since the cliffs.
I prefer the soundtrack of the snes version compared with the pc-engine. Obviously, the game in snes is a bad port but the sound chip of the snes makes miracles.
@Castortroyy why hate on the snes port? its pretty much the same as castlevania 4 , wich is known as one of the best castlevanias, makes no sense....-_-
@Castortroyy i dont need to play the engine to see a difference between CV 4 and CV X -_-, ive played both, X has great level design, ur just pverrating CV 4, but i can agree that CV 4 is a masterpiece but if its better than CV X it would only be slightly...
@Castortroyy ive seen the first level design, and let me tell you, that i wasnt as good as the snes version, but maybe it has other features the snes dosnt have
@Castortroyy like i said, ive seen the first level of both games and snes has it better done, ur in the middle of the after math, unlike the pc version the flames are badly made and the aftermath is far away...
Jesus Christ, this is dangerously funky.

I only just played it recently. My only complaint is that it's too short...and the jumping is a little wonky.

This song and vampire killer are best in this game. Bloody tears, however, i think was better in Rondo of Blood.

same as castlevania 4?
God, NO.
The level design in snes is totally uninspired and bored. Maybe, you NEED to play the original dracula x in pc-engine o psp.

@Castortroyy i dont need to play the engine to see a difference between CV 4 and CV X -_-, ive played both, X has great level design, ur just pverrating CV 4, but i can agree that CV 4 is a masterpiece but if its better than CV X it would only be slightly...

@xxxCRAZYLOVExxx
Of course the other features are awesome (play with maria renard, etc).
But the fact is..... the level design of dracula x in snes is bored. If you have good memories about the game, no problem.
