Skimboarding Aruba

Yo any advice for someone trying to ride waves? I am trying to learn but can seem to catch the waves as I turn. I've been sand skimming for years and trying to take it to the next level for myself. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

well yeah thats kind of true. i get tired faster with skimboarding. we still need to make it more populair tough. you can spot me at manchebo(durrr) green pants and skimboard is brown underneath. see ya man

the sport definitly isnt something spectacular compared to kite surfing for example. but i can skim and enjoy

kite surfing is boring, you just stand on the board and let the wind take you. Skimboarding is a complete pacage of workout and other stuff, it's nothing compair to kite boarding.

and p.s. work on your run and drop. don't throw the board as soon as you run. try to take 3 steps max to get on the board and don't jump on, just run on. practice that and you'll do good on bigger waves.

hey i skim but live in St. Maarten. there's no way you guys only have 5-10 skimmers lol. if that's true, St Maarten has way more skimmers than you guys. if i ever go Aruba in the future, i'm bringing my exile :)
