cool movie even though it's pretty stereotypical if it attempts to capture the 'essence' of mexican-americans. i don't blame those who made it though b/c mexico & its descendants are so diverse that you can't help but stereotype. my ancestors are from michoacan, MX & since i was raised in OC, CA i think i'm different than mexicans raised elsewhere w/ similar ancestry. mich. MX itself has various towns, each w/ its own distinctive ways. we have in common though that we're a resilient people =)
