Oh come on, the only thing superfluous on it for most users would be the AN/PEQ-15. There's a lot to be said for having an optic and light on a rifle that will see serious use and isn't just a range toy. The AFG is a matter of preference, but it makes more sense than a vertical grip for users that wrap their thumb around the tube. But hey, I guess it's a lot easier to call it "shit" and move on than weigh the pros and cons of each respective item.

@opmike343 The laser is really all I was referring to. Also, before stating my opinion I did weigh the pros and cons of each item in relation to my kit and needs. Yours are likely different. And you're damn right, its far easier to state my opinion so broadly and move on, rather then attempt any discussion in youtube comments mostly populated with call of duty pros. Perhaps next time I will state its too much "for me".

@opmike343 Try telling military guys that (Chris and Travis are both veterans.) A PEQ is a godsend with night vision (versus trying to use night vision settings on optics) and a visible laser has plenty of utility in the home defense and LE role.
