Now that is a great answer!!! Especially the ldea of barring former members of Congress from lobbying. That would help to decrease to lobbyists influence over the Congress, and have Congress working directly for the people. I just with that I had the option of voting for someone as thoughtful as Al. Oh, the joys of being stuck in a red state!!!!

Wow, what was that four? five? great ideas in one you tube video. Why shouldn't we vote on a weekend? Why should't public officials be barred from lobbying?

Franken has more smarts in his brain stem than the rest of congress has in their collective frontal lobe.

Great comments, a paper trail of votes would be worth every penny, in my opinion would have saved hundreds of billions in the last 8 years.

I would add in addition to lobbyists,previous jobs with conflicts of interest to held positions.
