well well nice to be back in 1956. Jazz is perennial and for me the most beautiful music - even if the guy's right hand ain't Herbie Hancock. Melodically using the available modes he cd move up from the Ionian (if you rockers need to know then post me). Sounds like a classical guy basicly - but nice if limited. He should listen to (for example) Coltrane Love Supreme piano parts.

@pg9876543 yes, the chords arent very jazzy, hence classical, especially in the verses. the chorus is jazzier. but the drums are playing too loud. the drums are louder than the piano. ionian mode, notes of a major scale. but, its not bad, its hard to improvise/perform anything in front of an audience, no matter how small it is. but his playing isnt clear. but you gotta start out somewhere.
