Anyways relevant here is the fact that the muslim slave trade in Africa predates with hundreds of years that of the europeans and was more important in numbers (around 20 millions). In the United States, slaves were afforded the conditions to give birth to slave children and raise them. In the Caribbean, slaves would be simply worked to death and then replaced by newly imported slaves. Both were evil systems, but the Caribbean system was more evil.
