i wish not to say it but the ballroom and ultimate trip are no longer there the ball room was burned to the ground and the fire destroyed the ultimate trip also. in 2007 or 2008. and the funnel cake stand icecream stand and everything up to the ski ball room were destroyed

Hopefully all is not lost,We here in Ohio lost our LaSourdsville(Americana). It has been rotting since 2002.

I hope someone will step forward and reopen the park. We've already lost Geauga Lake and there's still no word on what's going to happen to the Big Dipper (the 3rd oldest coaster in the world) and the Raging Wolfbobs coasters. We all lose a piece of our national heratige when ever a historic park like this one is closed. Won't someone please step in and save this park?

I don't know about you, but I think it's odd how all the ballrooms at closed parks burn down. Conspiracy?

I drove by the park early this morning, I saw the sky from my house and true enough a huge fire was roaring up over the trees. As if the park didn't look bad enough already. R.I.P. CLP

rip clp r u nuts man ther open. all of kiddie land andsome adult rides including: new sky diver ,tilt a wirl, bug, flying scooters,paratrooper,bumber cars,devils den,wiches stew,tarabant,and carosel rollo plane will run when its ready blue streak wont open till 2010 toboggan and musik exspress may retire

The last time I rode the blue steak was during the blue streak challenge. when i was about to leave to go to the challenge I took my camcorder out of my bag to put batteries in it and forgot to put it back, one of the biggest regrets i have.
