thanks for this but where are the rest? i remember liquid television and we'd pee oursellves when they'd show a new AF....she always died which was weird and cool coz you always wondered how she'd eat it this time? dunno about the movie and don't really care. can't top perfection
that scene&music where that blade man kills the 2nd hero and goes to his daughter gave me a braingasm. That moment is so full of feeling and meaning that it literally blows you away. You expect to see him die a stupid death and the next moment you get you expectations flipped upside down. The loser is the hero the aggressor is the protector. Those 20 sec were truly beautiful.
it`s sad to see quality and awesomeness only from things a decade old. Anyone know a site from where i can download it coz i really miss that thing...and youtube is full of remakes and so on
The original score was much better. Yours just didn't match the flow well by comparison. The whole point of the original score was to illustrate the shifts in the battle. Yours seemed to try to match the emotional state of the focal character, which wasn't the point at all of the narrative.
The fact that you thought there was no story might help to explain why your score fails so miserably to substitute the original.
The original score basically alternates themes for the two parties: Monicans (Aeon Flux) and Breens. The Monicans have a middle eastern theme, mysterious, seductive, heartfelt... The Breens have a classic European tune. Grandiose, Wagnerian. The short is all about short lived glory. Each champion shines and fades for the next. Both sides love and hurt.
*Claps* That is probably the best description I've heard for this scene. You really gotta be a fan to enjoy and understand the hidden meanings at times. Idle or random/newbie watchers are going to get very confused.
Cool. That's by far my favorite Aeon episode. One of my favorite sci-fi scenes all in all.
Besides the simplicity of narrative structure and the magnificent supporting sound track, the drawing techniques that seem to vary a lot from episode from episode, in War the lines are round, soft, delicate. Aeon Flux never looked so good.
can someone tell me whats this about

No. But, you can look at it your self and figure it out that way.

Where can I find the video of this with the original music?

I like how this short destroys the convention of the 'hero'. They're just as vulnerable as anyone else and just as dead.

Man, the original music score by Drew Neumann was really good. You should post the original as well.

I wish I could find pictures of this episode and mainly of Romeo Svengali, the Monican soldier with the sword.

The animation was amazing for this time period. Still is, really.

The blonde guy is Vaasch Lockney. Not Oren Goodchild.

oren goodchild is the one that got stabbed by romeo am i right and i believe that big ship is the dreadnaught
joshzamaki 2 years ago
Oren Goodchild is from the movie... the movie was made AFTER the animated series was over... and the movie was HORRIBLE. Don't drag it into here.

This is the complete short - and there's not really a story. The story is what you see - it's very typical, high-minded Peter Chung awesomeness.

The character with the sword (a Monican soldier) is called Romeo Svengali... he was such a badass. I wish we could have seen more of him.

Is there a site with a complete video story / anywhere?
