I don't see the need to go around telling everyone I'm gay. Gay people want to be accepted by law and by society for who they are and not who they sleep with. Laws protect gay people so we don't all end up like Matt Shepard however we also have to live in the world at large and it is not necessary (to me at least) to flaunt my sexuality. It's no one's business by mine and my partners. That's all I'm saying. My culture can be American or Italian or French but I don't see being GAY as a CULTURE.
