But I think where they ran into problems is they were with Facedown and they weren't a Hardcore band...and then secondly, I don't think a lot of people truly understood WHAT they were trying to do lyrically and musically. dreamt. not facedown. a new sub-label for a diff. style that facedown deems worthy of being signed/backed. perhaps if they felt some FDR followers would be intelligent and open-minded enough to accept a broader genre on FD, they wouldn't have to make sub-labels, but that is obviously not the case. there is music outside of hardcore, and it can be just as powerful and enjoyable. those artists deserve to sign to a great label that backs them just like any hardcore act worth their salt. grow up.

This band is actually quite awesome. I bought their album, and the entire thing is just as great! I couldn't stop listening to the thing for months! Granted I didn't like the vocals at first either, but after listening to it for a while, and eventually singing along with it, I gotta say that this is hands down one of my most favorite bands and albums!

Eventually at the end of the concert I did buy their album just because The Vocalist from Saosin (the main attraction) was distributing the cds ($5 only, bargain) to fans like me. How awesome. Joseph's life in the form of a theme album (CD). The lyrics are strong, riffs great and my favorite rock album. Sounds similar to secular rockers Zeppelin, Floyd and more but Christ glorifying.

Perhaps a great gift to someone who likes the beat of 70's rock but is without Christ. The Lord works in mysterious ways well beyond our comprehension. Praise God!
