Its somehow easier for the actor men to look better so long as they workout, eat well and get cosmetic "plastic" help. Its surprising that the audience also accepts these almost-50 guys romancing 20 year old girls. The girls, alas, don't have such a long shelf life. They're discarded after 35.

And yes I think Beauty doesn't exist as a concret and aesthetic standard it is a made up idea, it's more a point of view. It hasn't got any relevant existence in reality.

BW and HW actors/actresses create myths of beauty which are false (Demi Moore, Madonna,...). They try to remain young and slim as long as possible but their attemps fail because they need plastic help. In other words, it's like admitting Beauty is just a commercial brand.
