Kiran and George are actually very close family friends....Kiran is from an established Karachi Muslim family, and when George came to Pakistan he got Pakistani nationality and converted to Islam, and then married Kiran. They have a year old son Faiz William Fulton.
They were going to sing. Just so happened that they came on air at 11 a.m and half an hour before that was a train accident where people had died. Strings felt it would not be appropriate to sing at such a moment.
