I've had this monitor for about three years or more - this is one of those investments that you are very happy you made years later.

I don't see monitors of this caliber any longer - I'm so happy and I'm still looking for a second one - best buy possible. This thing is beautiful! Love this product!

one thing i didn't sow at the back of the monitor was the SCART connector... is this the US version or what?

i think i will buy the Samsung P2770HD. i will connect it with my Logitech Z5500 via optical cable + i have VESA mounting and the most important thing for me is the SCART connector

@hatecrewXcolin Actually, if your 5.1 system has optical in, you can plug the monitor from its optical out to your system's optical in. Except that you will have to buy your own optical cable. Hope this helps.

if u are in the usa u gonna need some regulator for the electricity cz in EU we use 220v instead of USA 110v

@Miguel333334 el hdmi siempre is mas mejor que el component ( el rojo, verde, y azul ) si tienes algo con hdmi usa ese. yo se que los dvd tienen el component. y el wii tiene un cable que se hace component tambien.

I have the european version of this monitor/TV for 4 months and I'm satisfied with it. In Europe, they mount a SCART input to it also, so I have the regular composite (and RGB) connections as well. But who uses it nowadays?

Also the service USB port is gone from my model, the SCART is in it's place.

Oh, and the audio input is the standard 3,5mm jack plug!

they're not that great. I feel like the reason this monitor is cheaper than a 26" HDTV is because the speakers arent as good.

It has an audio out but I haven't figured out how to use it yet with my computer speakers.

buy a male to female 3.5mm audio cable. if that wont work buy a male to male cable and a female female converter. just call tigerdirect or go to local computer store and ask

Haha, of course the speakers suck, this was always meant to be more of a computer monitor that also had an HDTV tuner rather than a TV that also worked as a monitor.

I have never heard decent built in speakers. I've heard several, including Asus's HD line, and they all suck.

i've geot this one :D it's cost me 380€ about 1 year ago. it's really really good monitor. i've got my PC via DVI, my PS3 via HDMI and my homecinema via HDMI connected to this baby and it works flawlessly. i just wanted that the remote has a direct buton to the input option menu instead that i need to cycle to various input sources or go to the settings menu
