What is the painting of and who whose bursh strokes are those? Beautiful on both counts. This is so Pirates of the Caribbean. I wonder what inspired it.
Something interesting. The illustration shown, which is by the artist Canaletto, is actually from the Angel Recording. In the Angel version, Water Music is played by the Bath Festival Orch., conducted by Yehudi Menuhin. Excellent selection (the "Country Dance") and excellent recording. Many thanks.
fantastic work from one of the greatest Georg Friederich Handel, my third favorite composer after Beethoven and Mozart, the king of baroque, his colorful music paints heaven and beyond. just listen to his Royal fireworks music and then you have his operas , his concerti grosii, his organ music, etc...
What a beautiful performance.
