@GarretAvery Are you outta your mind, ive had a Pede, a rusty a 4-tec and bandit......they may not be racers (well maybe the 4-tec and rustler) but they ARE durable, ive jumped my pede over my house several times and its fine, the only thing youll ever break is a suspension arm, unless your dumb like me and put a 5700kv brushless system in and torque your slipper clutch all the way down, cus then youll strip your idler gear.....

get the e revo. it will be slower than the vxls but it has 4WD and handles great. and you can just slap a brushless sytem on it and it will fly

Ok no you cant maybe with a 4s and a mamba max but with a vxl you're stuck at 3s and no 3s will get you to 80 and deffinately not in the stampede it is to unaerodynamic

I have the regular one and ive had it for a year and a half race it every day and havent had to replace a thing. The biggest jump i did was a ten foot gap and all that happened was the engine went out of place and a swrew turn fixed that. I have a vid of my truck and it does barrel rolls and flips.

Dude, WTF I have a stampede. I have brutally crashed it at 30+ mph. You just HAVE to admitt that these things are tough. Example: in that video it crashed, and crashed, and crashed. And even though it broke alot of parts, it just kept going. And going...and going...and going... and on and on and on. So before you post a retarded and offending comment, get yourself a stampede and see how tough it is. I've driven mine off my 7-8 foot tall garage and I'm not afraid of it breaking. Traxxas toughness
